How do you clean tall buidings?

Initially I couldn’t work out what was going on here – there appeared to be something bouncing around on the side of the building. Perhaps it was some sort of avant-garde art performance I thought. Ah ha. Little people on strings frantically scrubbing away at the side of the building.. I hope they get paid well. I met a bloke in a pub some time ago – I know what you’re thinking “this is going to be one of those […]

Club Sandwich #3

Right, what have we got here then? Hmmm, ham instead of bacon. Well, I suppose we can allow them that small indiscretion. On the plus side, fresh looking lettuce and tomato and the all important cocktail sticks. Let in be known a club sandwich without the potentially lethal cocktail sticks, is no club sarnie at all. Overall rating 7/10.

Racing Colours

Some genius in Thai traffic control decided that each set of lights would have a count down in seconds before the lights go green. Result? Every change of the lights results in a Grand Pris style racing start. Splendid. The motorbikes can obviously weave there way to the front of the queue, so naturally start the proceedings. What is going on with the formatting there? Pesky HTML. Sorry kids, can’t be bothered to work out how to fix it!

The Banyan Tree

It’s a long way up the 63rd floor roof top restaurant. This is as near to the top of the world as you can get in Bangkok. It seems to me all cities are at their best when viewed from above ground level. You don’t really appreciate the true magnitude of what lies around you until you elevate yourself above it so to speak. Here on the 63rd floor you escape the traffic, dirt and chaos for a short time […]
