The cunning of these insects is remarkable and it appears that they have the power of reasoning…as the bed is moved farther and farther from the sides of the room, the bedbugs climbed up the wall to the precise height from which they can jump and land on the bed. When the bed is moved closer the bugs climbed only as high as necessary.”
