Everybody is talking about movie barcodes… Are they? Well, they are in my world.
Here’s the idea, take a feature film, extract every nth frame, make it 1 pixel wide and then stack them all up left to right. Viola! You have created a barcode that represents the film. There’s plenty of examples here
Of course looking at other people’s work is all very well, but then natural vanity requires that you try processing something of your own. Here’s Intersections:
