Starbucks Plan Coffee Shops on the Moon

Starbucks not content with filling every high street with their infernal faux establishments have released plans to build on the moon. Above is an artists rendition of how they imagine this will look. [blockquote]“We want space travellers to feel right at home” a smiling over-tanned Starbucks PR Muppet announced yesterday, before racing off to polish his already over whitened teeth.[/blockquote] But in all seriousness, enough is enough – I’m absolutely sick of every high street being turned into  a clone […]

Happy Evil Easter!

I’m going to kill them soon, they’ve been looking at me funny and I don’t like it…. The one on the left is definitely suspicious.

Make it Bad

Those of you who can remember 110 film cameras, Super-8 and all the other forms of fallible film technology will find great joy in the iPhone application that is Hipstamatic – a wonderfully implemented bit of software that emulates not only the looks but the technological feel of using old school film technology – pick a slightly questionable film stock  a suitably dodgy lens and a questionable film process and see what comes out of the mix. Random chance can […]

Old Photography

Rediscover or depending on you age, discover, the era of semi random photography that was the 70’s and 80’s with the Hipstamatic camera app for the iPhone. Whatever happened to scientific debate one may ask. We may consider this to be victory for common sense but you have to wonder at what cost. Putting the literal cost aside and if I’m to understand the papers correctly Mr Singh […]

Compensation for building work.

Oxford regraded in teal and orange.

The use of sandstone as the building material of choice in Oxford makes it highly suitable for the Hollywood blockbuster look that is flavour of the month – ‘teal and orange’ – this is my special localised version called ‘teal and Oxford. I’m considering marketing special filtered sunglasses with a built in vignette to all the American tourists here to make them feel right at home.

I went away…and Facebook got upset.

Good grief, now Facebook is upset with me for going somewhere other than ‘my computer’ whatever that may mean. Perhaps it would be better if I never left the house at all – I wouldn’t like to fall out with Facebook would I?

Lego Pint

Hmmm. A pint made of Lego. a bit crunchy, but satisying non-the-less.

Oxford made of Lego

it’s raining here in Oxford so I’ve turned this building into Lego to make it more interesting.
